At TurboShorts, we respect your privacy. Because our product is a self-hosted software solution, our relationship with your data is fundamentally different from traditional SaaS platforms.
1. Data We Do Not Collect
Since TurboShorts runs on your own server (via Docker), we do not have access to, collect, or store:
- Your YouTube channel data or Google Console tokens.
- Your third-party API keys (e.g., Kie.ai, OpenAI).
- The prompts you write or the videos you generate.
- Your databases. All of this remains 100% on your own infrastructure.
2. Data We Collect
We only collect the absolute minimum data required to process your order and validate your license:
- Account & Payment Data: When you purchase a license, your email address and payment details are processed securely by our payment provider (e.g., Gumroad / Paddle). We do not store your credit card information.
- License Validation: To prevent piracy, our licensing server periodically checks your License Key, which may log your server's IP address and the domain name where the software is installed.
- Website Analytics: We use standard tracking tools (like Google Tag Manager and Facebook Pixel) on our sales landing page to understand visitor behavior and improve our marketing. You can opt out of these via your browser settings.
